Privacy Policy

TradeFern (“we”, “the app”) is a trading confluence-grading and analytics tool. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

• Account details — the email address you sign in with.
• Data you enter — trades, notes, confluence selections, and account and prop-firm rule settings.
• Files you upload — chart screenshots you attach to trades.
• Basic technical data — standard server and device information needed to run and secure the app.

How we use it

We use your data solely to run the app — to store your trades, compute your statistics and setup grades, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not share your trades with other users or advertisers.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Access is scoped to your account by row-level security, so other users cannot read your data. Sign-in emails are sent through an email delivery provider.

We use product analytics (Vercel Analytics and PostHog) to see which features get used and where people get stuck. They record page views and a small set of product events — for example, that a setup was graded and the grade it earned — identified only by an opaque account ID, never your email. Your trades, symbols, prices, and P&L are never sent to them, and session recording is switched off.

AI review is disabled by default. If you enable it in the future, summaries of the trades you choose to review are sent to Anthropic to generate coaching feedback; this only happens when you actively run a review.

Your choices

You can delete individual trades and lists at any time inside the app, export all of your trades as a CSV from Settings, and delete all of your data at once from Settings → Danger zone. To close the login itself, contact us at the address below.
