Anatomy of an A+ setup

Let's assemble everything into one trade — the kind you wait all session for.

A textbook A+ long (ICT lens):

1. HTF bias is up. You're only hunting longs. (bias — core)
2. Price sweeps an obvious sell-side pool — equal lows, prior day low. (liquidity sweep — core)
3. A Change of Character prints on displacement, leaving a fair value gap. (structure shift + displacement)
4. Price retraces into an order block that overlaps the FVG — a unicorn. (PD array stack)
5. That POI sits in discount, in the OTE zone. (premium/discount)
6. It's the NY AM killzone. (time)
7. Your draw on liquidity — buy-side above — gives a clean 3:1. (target + R:R core)
8. No news in the window; you're within prop rules; you're calm. (gates clear)

Every layer is an independent reason. Stacked, they're overwhelming — a genuine A.

But notice: this setup is rare. Most of the time, some layers are missing and the honest grade is a B or C — or a no-trade. The skill isn't forcing every chart into this template; it's recognizing when the stack is really there and having the discipline to pass when it isn't.
